❚❚❚❚❚ BASICS.

■ NAME & ID CODE: Gailardia Galan Gardios. Goes by Guy Cecil. (NHD-A10-CCL-007)
■ CANON: Tales of the Abyss; Post-game.
■ AGE: 23 by the Auldrant calendar. Around 46 by Earth's calendar.
■ HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 6'0" & 174 lbs.
■ CURRENT TEAM & STATUS: Green. Healthy.
■ LANGUAGE: Whatever the common language on Auldrant is?? I'm going to refer to it as Fonic. He can also read/speak Ancient Ispanian.
■ NOTABLE FEATURES: A faded scar that takes up his upper right arm.
■ INVENTORY: Here.
❚❚❚❚❚ IC.
■ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Go for it! Just as a head's up, though: if you're a humanoid female he'll have a panic attack. He's unable to get close to women thanks to his gynophobia. It's gotten better over the years, but sudden contact will still make him freak out. It doesn't affect him if they're in a dangerous situation/if someone needs help but otherwise... well, you're free to do what you want with this info.

■ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE:
Would your character die for another character currently in the game?
It depends on the circumstance. Guy's primary concern aside from helping Auldrant is to stay alive. Unless it's a castmate, it's unlikely he'll throw down his life for them, and even then it wouldn't be his first choice. He'll fight like hell to figure out some alternative solution to dying.

Would your character kill for another character currently in the game?
Again, it depends. If it's an instructor--or someone with the authority to revoke the protection Auldrant has--Guy would. He's not happy about killing, but his morals aren't so strong that he's unwilling to kill.

Is your character comfortable with and/or willing to mutilate a dead recruit’s body?
Uncomfortable, but if it's to survive he will.

■ RELATIONSHIPS: Being intimate with others is tough for Guy (see: gynophobia, his entire childhood) and the CDC isn't an encouraging environment either. He's not looking, but you're welcome to hit me up if you wanna try anything o/

■ MENTAL INFORMATION: Guy has settled a lot of his issues post-game but there's still traces of them if you look hard enough. A close friend of his, after all, calls him "a violent bird in a cage" which he accepts without disputing. A great deal of his anger over Hod's destruction and his family has been settled, but there's still a lingering resentment he chooses not to act upon.

His biggest long-term goal next to staying alive is ensuring Auldrant's protection, while finding Luke is his second. There's a lot of unresolved grief he holds over Luke's disappearance, and this has manifested itself in unsettling, reoccurring nightmares of the day he lost his family (11-13). Needless to say, he doesn't sleep well nowadays.

■ MEDICAL INFORMATION:
Are they vertebrate?
Yes.

Is “breathing” necessary for their survival?
Yes.

Do they feel hunger?
Yes.

How many fingers and eyes?
10 fingers, 2 eyes.

NOTE: People from Auldrant have something called "fon slots" in their bodies. They can intake fonons, particles akin to magical molecules, to perform what is known as fonic artes by opening their fon slots. These slots can be sealed, and doing so severely reduces one's elemental capabilities and causes a sensation akin to "being forced to walk underwater with weights." In addition, certain enchantments can be applied to fon slots to increase one's abilities, decrease them, or manipulate the victim via emotion.

■ FAVORITE SENSORY INPUT: I'll say touch.

■ OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS:
GYNOPHOBIA
This is his most obvious trigger but the one he's working the hardest to overcome. He's no longer uncomfortable standing somewhat close to women, though he does need enough space to ensure no accidental touching will happen. Reaching out for him or trying to touch him will have him scooting away and apologizing. Touching or grabbing him, especially from behind, will cause panic.

TL;DR: proximity causes anxiety and discomfort, contact induces a panic attack. His fear is controllable if it's in a situation where he has to help someone (i.e. carry a woman with a broken ankle, rescue a drowning woman) but in everyday life it's a hindrance.

CLONES/REPLICAS
Guy's firmly convinced that all clones/replicas are human beings in their own right and will treat them as such. Any badmouthing over replicas will gain his disapproval, though he won't voice it.

RE: SUICIDAL/SELF-SACRIFICING TYPES
This is the quickest way to have Guy seeing red if you're a friend of his. He understands the thought process that may go with this, but his kneejerk reaction is to be angry at a potential waste of life. He's punched his best friend over this, he'll punch any dude over this.

■ REBELLIOUS TENDENCIES: Guy'll be unhappy with the situation he's in, but he understands his cooperation is necessary for Adulrant's protection and future well-being. He's not keen on placing his neck/his planet on the line.
