Well... from my human point of view, you can't know what you have unless you're reminded of its importance. What's considered "right" can't be that way without something designated as "wrong."

[He makes a thoughtful noise.] I think a perfect world's a goal we should all work towards. But there's nothing wrong in appreciating what we have right now. Where I come from, even small flaws would be considered part of a grander whole.

If anything, those flaws are a good way for us to figure out what being "perfect" should really mean.
