[Guy why. Why this? Reaching out he drops his hand on Guy's head. Weird, but it's the closest he can get to anything remotely reassuring.]
She got you good. You're even telling lies straight to my face~. [It's never nice to see him.] Let's sit down.

have you heard of the IPS?
FROM: ratchet@cdc.org
dunno. They're in the files. "Inter-planetary Securities." Bad news for the CDC it says, and other organizations like it.
FROM: ratchet@cdc.org
just doing my research.
[Someone's finally looking at the files. He hadn't been interested in them at first, but now it was something to do. Alice's methods weren't his normal ones, but Ratchet had to admit that maybe she had a point about looking for the answers in places other than...the officers inboxes.]

yeah it goes to follow, coporations have coporate rivals. that's big where I come from.
FROM: ratchet@cdc.org
didn't hear about it anywhere; it's in the files. 'persons of interest'. There's not much there though...just enough to be interesting.

they can be as big as a person too. theres arcades where you can go in and most of the games will be two player so you can play against your friends. theres a game called a pinball machine where

you have two levers and you have to press them at the right time and right pressure to make sure the ball that kicks around doesnt fall in the hole and goes into the slots that earn you the most

We have to evacuate. Please let me know when you've successfully boarded one of the ships and that you're safe.

yeah. and i think i've kinda burned my bridges with our team leader at this point haha

why bother telling us about the biggest THREAT to the CDC. they sure like to recruit from populations who don't know anything about the CDC OR any of their competitors...
[Stepping in Zelos closes the door quietly behind him. Somehow he didn't expect Guy to be this affected. Or more... Somehow it didn't occur to him to think of Guy as this fragile. But that's been rather true always, hasn't it. Between them Zelos is loud, excessive. But under all the hiding and the quiet Guy is just as volatile, if not more so. Things reach deep when you feel strongly.]
Yeah. I do want to check up on you. But if it were just that I would have come another time.
[Leaning back against the door he crosses his arms. What to say... For once he feels comfortable enough with Guy he doesn't think what he should say or what Colette would say. Maybe because somehow they keep ending up here.]
I'll trade you. Story for a story. What's eating you?

Yeah. We might.
[Ratchet would be lying if he said attempting contact wasn't in his thoughts; but luckily if he keeps it to himself, it's not lying. That's nothing within their grasp at the moment anyhow. Ratchet hadn't the faintest idea yet how their communications systems worked, or more importantly, security. There wasn't going to be any serious thinking along those lines until he knew more about both of those topics. For now, it's a train of thought he pushes to the side; something to worry about later, when they had more information. More means at their disposal.
All he knows right now, is that there's an organization out that is not only opposed to the CDC, but is successful in its opposition. Successful enough to trouble the powers that be. And that's enough to interest Ratchet. Besides, digging up information on the IPS gives him somewhere to focus his energies...somewhere other than pissing off Armada.]

a friend told me you can buy consoles on the shopping channel on the ship but i dont know how much it costs. theyre expensive back home

a pinball machine would be even more expensive
[ And as cool as game consoles are, he doesn't want to waste a large amount of money on them when he has other places he could use it. ]
