[He knew these things would happen. The more he learned of the CDC, the more he's aware of their grip on them. It's an organization that dealt with death, that gobbled up its recruits as quickly as they gobbled up planets.

It's not a place for a kid like Red to be.

His fingers sit by the black glass idled by the mess going on inside his head, but Red doesn't want to stop their conversation how long it takes to type again.
